Autumn Inspiration

The most amusement season of the year is autumn. I really like it because it's "gold" inspires me. Every teacher would say that autumn is the beginning of new school year, new projects, new ideas and new impressions. 

It is October. Lovely yellow leaves fall down from the trees making our everyday life colourful. Using these leaves you can create interesting compositions to decorate your classroom before Halloween. You can make a contest between kids for the best Halloween costume made of leaves. I'm sure students will surprise you!

Besides it is actually a good idea to make a garland of leaves with different wishes, or greetings, or words that are necessary to be remembered.

As you can see, leaves can become a good material to create interesting decorations, tasks and projects. I wish you inspiration and good luck!

OUR FIRST STEPS TO MAKE KIDS HAPPY

Our school is situated in a small, but picturesque village. Unfortunately there was no place to have rest in Khomutets. So our school took part in the contest organized by National Ukrainian Foundation "Step by Step" and won a summ of money to create our own project. We found partners to take part in the project. Due to our imagination, work, help of the Foundation and the partnership it became possible to create a playground for the kids, who live in this wonderful village!

We are starting a new scientic research. It's aim is to investigate weblish as a kind of modern network communication. My student Tatiana and me are very excited and hope to write an interesting work!

Team Teaching

Hi, everyone!

There was an exciting meeting today. I was invited to visit my native school 5 in Myrgorod. The teachers of English have organized the seminar for those who are interested in modern teaching technologies. The "star guest" of the meeting was the US Peace Corps Volunteer Paul Klein. Besides perfect English he also has many ideas and interesting teaching methodologies. 

Today he presented the audience TEAM TEACHING technology. In team teaching a group of teachers, working together, plan, conduct, and evaluate the learning activities for the same group of students. It means that two (or more) teachers conduct one joint lesson for one group of pupils. This method is not widely used in Ukraine, but it is worth of attention!

I'd like to know my student's opinion. Is such activity interesting for you?
